Weir Operation: Controlling Crest Elevation

Recently, I have been conducting river hydraulic modeling using EFDC+ Explorer version 12.2.

The river I am simulating is equipped with a hydraulically operated inflatable rubber dam, as shown in the image below. For reference, the dam installed in the river operates on the exact same principle as the one depicted in the image.

To simulate this, I attempted to represent the weir structure in the model using the “Flow derived from Equation: Weir” option under the Hydraulic Structure Boundary Condition.

However, during this process, I found that the crest elevation of the weir could not be adjusted using time control.

Is the crest elevation not configurable as a time-dependent parameter when utilizing the “Flow derived from Equation: Weir” setting?

If it is not possible, are there any alternative methods available to simulate a hydraulically operated inflatable rubber dam, like the one shown in the image at the top?

The weir I intend to control has a base elevation of 21.57 meters, with a normal and maximum crest elevation of 23.57 meters. The range of crest elevation I aim to simulate varies between 22.2 meters and 23.57 meters.

Thank you

Hi gh0417
Did you solve this problem? with your model I think you can follow what I have set up for the example model here to configure it correctly for your model.
