Water quality simulation of a northern lake with ice cover


Is anyone in possession of a suitable EFDC+ water quality configuration for a northern lake that experiences frozen conditions from December to May? I am currently modifying the water quality configuration, but I’m encountering discrepancies between the chlorophyll-a values and actual observations. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Furthermore, I have observed in the EFDC examples provided on the website that constant water quality values are assigned uniformly to all cells throughout the water column. Could this approach be considered advisable to adopt?
