Elevation-VOlume-Area has been used as a verification tool for model bathymetry. I am not sure how to do the comparison of the elevation-volume-area relationship. I can find the area-volume-elevation relationship for the data from the EFDC Explorer bottom elevations tab. But I don’t know how to compare this curve with the observed data and verify whether I am missing any significant amount of water (water /volume) ? Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi John,
The only real use for this information is for reservoirs and lakes. Most reservoir and lake management organizations will have a measured, published volume/area/elevation relationship. In this way you can use the EE generated data to compare to the published data.
