Units of solar radiation in Aser.inp file

Hi, all

I’m confused about the units of solar radiation in the Aser.inp file:
SOLRCVT =CONVERTS SOLAR SW RADIATION TO JOULES/S/SQ METER (Watts/m^2)
SOLSWR =SOLAR SHORT WAVE RADIATION AT WATER SURFACE ENERGY FLUX/UNIT AREA

Could anyone tell me the default value of the SOLRCVT and the default unit of SOLSWR?

Hi Bin,

The default value of SOLRCVT is 1 and the default unit of SOLSWR is W/m2. I would recommend converting solar radiation to W/m2 if it is not in that unit and then import into EFDC_Explorer.
