The simulation of nutrient and Chla in the deep lake zone

Hi, The TP, TN and Chla results of my model in the deep lake zone are always lower than the observed values, but the simulation is normal in other areas. Does anyone ever have the silimar problem? I would like to know how to elevate the water quality simulation in the deep area. Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks
Sincerely,
Jaylon

Hi Jaylon, thank you for your question. In terms of chl a, there will be no generation at depth as there will be so little light in the deeper regions. If there is chl a there, it will be as a result of settling from the surface. In terms of the other parameters, their presence at depth will depend mainly on the hydrodynamics and mixing processes.
