I am collecting atmospheric data for the EFDC temperature model. NREL dataset contains solar radiation data presented in DHI, DNI, and GHI. Which one should I use for EFDC?Thanks,Hengchen
We wouldn’t recommend using these data as they are not site specific and don’t have sufficient temporal resolution. We have found that for temperature modeling, high resolution data (15 min to hourly), that is close your area of study will give good results.
