hello, i have a question about computer performance and model.As you know, CPU has intel and rizen, and with the recent release of rizen 4, it proved that single thread performance is better then intel processIs EFDC model still more efficient in an intel process? also, OMP thread option must do in intel process?I’m going to buy a new computer and i am thinking about which CPU i should choose. Please answer which side can increases the model performance more.
rizen4 -> zen3(5600x, 5800x, 5900x, 5950x)
OMP & MPI on EFDC do not require intel processors. It is likely that the latest AMD processors will have better performance than currently available intel cpus. Though they have not been benchmarked yet.
