Question about Model Input Units

Hello,

I have an bathymetry xyz file that is in US feet units and coordinates. I understand that there is a way to change my units from meters to feet once a model is created, but that just converts all of my elevations of meters. For instance, my lake water surface is at 308 feet, but the program takes this as 308 meters and converts it to 1010.5 feet. Is there a way to create a model that takes my xyz in as feet, or do I have to convert my files to meters?

I believe the most efficient solution is to convert your horizontal and vertical units into metric units before beginning work in EE. That will ensure consistent and predictable results and avoid inadvertently using the wrong units.
