Issue Opening Free Mekong Grid GPC File in Grid+ and EFDC+

Hello,

I recently downloaded the Free Grid for the Mekong River, Vietnam from the EEMS website (Mekong River (Vietnam) | EFDC+ Explorer Modeling System) with the intention of using and modifying it for my modeling work. However, I encountered an issue where the provided .gpc file could not be opened in Grid+, which I was planning to use for editing the grid. I also attempted to import the same .gpc file into EFDC+, but it failed to load there as well.

I would like to ask if the Mekong grid file is confirmed to be compatible with the current versions of Grid+ and EFDC+, and whether there might be a corrected or alternative version of this file available. If there’s a known workaround or conversion process to make the file usable, I would appreciate any guidance on that as well.

Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to your response.

HI sangwooda1992
Can you tell me more specifically what error you are having? For example, which version of EE, Grid+ are you using, or can you take a picture of the error when uploading the file…? I downloaded the grid file from the website and uploaded it to the Grid+ 1.2 program, and it still worked normally, as shown in the image below.

Also, If you want to use this grid for modeling, pay attention to the connection; if they are not directly connected, use the connection function ( N-S, E-W) on EEMS to get the best result.
Sincerely,
BMHoa

I’m currently using EE 11.8 and Grid+ 1.0.2.
Do I need to update both versions?

Also, the grid looks different from the one shown on the website.
I want a grid like this:

We have replaced the grid on the website as it was an older version. Please try the new one.
