Inquiry Regarding the Algal Particle Tracking Module of the EE8.4

Greetings! I need to use the EE8.4 for algae-related particle tracking simulations in my research, and I am writing to consult you on the following questions:

The EFDC+ version is already equipped with the Lagrangian Particle Tracking (LPT) module, which supports the setting of particle settling/rising velocities and allows the definition of different properties by particle groups. However, the settling velocity of algae dynamically changes with their species, morphological size, and growth stage. If a fixed value is used throughout the entire simulation process, it will compromise the rationality of the algal particle settling simulation.

Therefore, I would like to confirm with you: In any current version of EFDC (including EFDC+), does the particle tracking module support dynamic adjustment of settling velocity tailored to algal characteristics? For instance, can it link to algal species parameters and growth stage data, or calculate the settling velocity in real time via custom formulas (such as the extended application of the Stokes equation that incorporates changes in particle size and density)?

I look forward to your response and sincerely appreciate your time and assistance!
