How to create a 2d/3d grid from a AutoCAD(dwg for example) file most efficient ?
EFDC-Explorer supports the grids that are created by The Delft RGFGrid, ECOMSED, SeaGRID and CVLGrid softwares. So, as long as you can convert your AutoCAD file to a base land boundary map, you will be able to create the 2D/3D grid and import to build your model in the EFDC-Explorer. Hope this helps.
