Groundwater

Anyone try to use groundwater classes lately? I am trying to create one class to account for groundwater flow into my model, but I do not know how to create gwser.inp. Does anyone know?

My gwser.inp is in the EPA format but it might work: Here is a two segment example,for each segment specify the “box” for your groundwater cells (I min-max and J min-max) The discharge is distributed among the segment cells (it’s not the amount to each cell.########################################C gwser.inp C File for groundwater fields C NSEGMENTS 2C IMIN IMAX JMIN JMAX NDATA -Segment 1 254 266 2 24 2C JulianDay Q(m^3/s) SALT TEMP DYE TOX 1.000 0.490 2.600 23.000 0.00 0.000 8500.000 0.490 2.600 23.000 0.00 0.000C IMIN IMAX JMIN JMAX NDATA -Segment 2 254 263 25 35 2C JulianDay Q(m^3/s) SALT TEMP DYE TOX 1.000 0.202 2.350 23.000 0.00 0.000 8500.000 0.202 2.350 23.000 0.00 0.000###############################################Regards,

Hi easmith,You can create gwser.inp files using the Groundwater options. On the main screen of EE, go to the “Boundary Conditions” tab under “Domain”. On that screen you will see options for Groundwater. For further reference see the following page on the EFDC_Explorer knowledge base: https://eemodelingsystem.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EEREF/pages/2355751/Groundwater+Boundary+ConditionHope that helps!Tom
