Dye Boundary Condition with Single-Layer Model

I have a model of a simple flow-through reservoir for which I would like to simulate a impulse tracer study. I have defined every element needed to run the model including a dye time-series boundary condition. The dye boundary condition will be honored if I use a multi-layer simulation (2 layers), but is not honored when I use a single layer in the simulation (depth-averaged conditions). What am I doing incorrectly, or does EFDC not support dye boundary conditions in single-layer simulations?

It mus be something wrong with your setting. EFDC support to simulate dye for both single and multi-layers without any problems. Please find the attached for an example of Dye Model. {REMOVED by Admin}
