Does EE can simulate the nutrient cycling in Wetland?

Dear EE team,Does EE can simulate the nutrient cycling (e.g. nitrogen, carbon or phosphorus)in wetland environment? it doesn’t matter if it’s simple I think. I thought that, it may involve wet/dry alternation, plants, sediments release and others. It seems that EE has already contained these elements, am I right? So I would like to get the powerful answer about it.Thank you~

Yes, EFDC WQ submodel simulates the kinetics of the nitrogen in the water column and in the sediment diagenesis submodel. You can see something about the theory here:https://eemodelingsystem.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ETG/pages/2336440/7.2.3.4+Nitrogen https://eemodelingsystem.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ETG/pages/2345157/7.5.1+IntroductionYou can also simulate rooted plants and epiphytes in the wetland with the RPEM model.
