Since there are very less information about the default constants in EFDC, can someone suggest me what are the constant that should be calibrated for density current simulation, which model should be activated, do they change for different grid settings, and how the best values of those constants be calibrated? Your input is highly appreciated.

Hi Max, Salinity and temperature must be activated if you are interested in density currents. The grid can impact the horizontal diffusivity values. A vertical diffusivity of 110e-4 or 110e-6 shouldn’t see a significant difference in the results. We recommend you download the 2D tank simulation model and experiment with the diffusivity values.
