After many years of running a sediment/eutrophication model under EFDC+ 8.2, I was forced to change to EFDC+ 11.8 because the 8.2 sediment module no longer ran after a recent Windows update. My model ran fine under 11.8 after a minor change only to the time stepping controls, but the results I get for sediments and most eutrophication parameters are completely different and will require major recalibration. No other parameters were changed. Has anyone else experienced this? Were there major bugs fixed between versions that could account for this?
