How can I add a structure between model runs? What I would like to do is simulate the construction of a dam, culvert or weir during the life of a project. I’d like to use the restart file to initiate the next phase of the project to account for sediment concentrations/scour, water temperature, etc. in the system. I’m getting a negative depth error but I’m guessing that is because with the new structure, what is being read in is wrong. Thanks for the help, Drew
HI Drew, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. We wouldn’t recommend trying to add a structure and then using the restart file as it is sure to give an error. It has in our testing. One approach would be set the structure to use time series controls and then compare the results when the structure is in one state to another.
