A problem about the connection of two grids

Hi EFDC Users,How to connect two grids like what is shown in the first picture.The two grids(the red one and the green one) have more than one joints to connect,if I connect one joint,there will be something terrible happens(as is shown in the second picture). I am worried to know how to solve the problem.SincerelySsr
